Ashley Hassard is a Canadian creative director, educator, media personality, and entrepreneur whose career bridges storytelling, experiential marketing, education, and social impact. Known for her dynamic presence both online and off, Ashley has built a multifaceted career rooted in creativity, human connection, and purposeful communication.
With a Master of Arts in Child Study and Education and undergraduate studies in Human Ecology and Sociology, Ashley’s foundation is deeply grounded in leadership, community engagement, and advocacy. Before stepping into the public-facing creative industry, she spent years working in education, youth mentorship, charitable fundraising, and international service learning initiatives focused on equity, access, and social responsibility.
Over the course of her career, Ashley has taught in inner-city classrooms, spoken to more than 22,000 youth across Canada about food insecurity and global citizenship, and participated in humanitarian initiatives around the world. Her international work has included teaching English in the Dominican Republic and Ghana, supporting school-building projects in Nicaragua, Peru, and India, assisting with medical clinic initiatives in Costa Rica, and participating in community development projects throughout Asia and Latin America.
Creatively, Ashley’s path began unexpectedly in 2009 when opportunities in modelling and media opened the door to a much larger world of storytelling and brand communications. Since then, she has appeared in national campaigns, short films, runway productions, and digital media projects while simultaneously building businesses and publications of her own.
Today, she is the co-founder and creative force behind multiple ventures, including Canadian Bride Guide, SKYN Magazine, and Drawbox Inc. - a multidisciplinary experiential design and fabrication company specializing in immersive brand activations, event environments, and creative strategy. Through these platforms, Ashley has collaborated with globally recognized brands across the fashion, tourism, hospitality, technology, and lifestyle sectors, helping shape campaigns and experiences that resonate both culturally and emotionally.
In addition to her entrepreneurial work, Ashley is an accomplished photographer, creative consultant, content strategist, and speaker whose work has been recognized for its warmth, authenticity, and ability to connect communities through storytelling.
Her personal accomplishments extend beyond business and media. Ashley represented Canada at the World Championships for Aesthetic Group Gymnastics, served as a UNESCO Ambassador for World Kindness Day, partnered with the Get REAL Movement as a featured influencer and advocate, and acted as Youth Ambassador for impossible2Possible - an organization that had her traveling to Bolivia to help inspire and educate youth through adventure-based learning.
At the core of everything Ashley does is a belief that creativity can be both meaningful and transformative. Whether producing large-scale experiential campaigns, documenting stories through photography, mentoring students, or building media platforms that celebrate connection and celebration, her work consistently reflects a balance of professionalism, purpose, and humanity.
Above all, Ashley is passionate about building a life - and career - rooted in curiosity, impact, and joy.
